Jock itch?: It sounds like you had a common skin infection of the scrotum, like tinea cruris (jock itch). There are other possible causes as well, but for sure It's not an STD and you didn't catch it from having sex -- just a coincidence. If the antifungal cream isn't working, check back with the physician who prescribed it. Good luck.
