Yes: Your bleeding can stop for several days and then come back. It is not uncommon to pass a clot and then resume bleeding. Overall, your bleeding should get gradually lighter. I tell my patients to come to the ER if they begin bleeding over one pad per hour. Congratulations on your baby!
