Your symptoms suggest increase in the pressure in your head which then, puts pressure on the optic nerves, the eyes, & well, everything. Increased pressure in the head occurs when pressure in the abdomen increases. This commonly happens when straining to have a BM. Lying on the abdomen is likely causing pressure increases in the head.
