Less food: To lose weight you need to reduce the amount of food you eat. There is no specific food that will help you lose weight. Eat a diet of fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains nuts; low in saturated fats; no tobacco, no more than one drink a day. Exercise at least 30 minutes a day. Most importantly, reduce you intake of food.

Normal!: It is not uncommon in some children. If the stool is formed , child is growing i would not worry about it. It is often from green leafy vegetables, coloring agents in the food or simply due to rapid transit from small intestine to large intestine where it normally is tuned brown.

Yes: The answer depends on your baseline weight but in general a pace of 0.5-2 lbs/week is acceptable and achievable. The most important thing is how you are doing this. No: You can still lift weights and exercise as tolerated. You may be limited by discomfort and if your are then you may need to have it further evaluated to determine if you need any intervention.

Foods/portions: The issue is not just foods: certainly fresh meat, fish, poultyr, fruit and vegetables. Tricking your body into feeling full with fiber ( cereals, grains, nuts ) and water ( 8-10 glasees/day) PLUS daily high and low impact burst interval aerobics and a positive self image ( a photo of yorself looking at your best )-try these simple tools. Small fist sized portions of food ( 6-8/day)-good luck!
