More work up needed: Not sure what your work up has been. Not sure if diagnosis is correct. Antibiotics are not the treatment for thrush. Antifungals are the proper treatment. If proper diagnosis, evaluation of the function of your immune system is in order, including HIV testing. Scraping of the lesion in mouth put onto microscope and showing what we call hyphae makes the diagnosis. Easy to do in office.
