I have a temp of 99.3 i'm 6 weeks post-partum & breast feeding. my labor was 17.5 hours long & ended w/an emergency csection bc my bp spiked & i had the strep b virus. is this a normal temp?

Body Temperature: varies during the day. An afternoon oral temperature > 99.9 degrees F is generally considered a fever. If you feel chilly, achy, or fatigued beyond new parenthood, call your OB. Group B Strep bacteria usually cause no symptoms in healthy, young adults. Antibiotics are given intravenously during labor to prevent early- or late-onset GBS infection in the newborn-3 month period.
