A member asked:

I have a skin tag on my back that becomes red/irritated & sometimes bleeds when i wear wool sweaters should i be concerned?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not Dangerous: Some skin tags can get large enough to rub against clothing and become irritated. Friction against something like a wool sweater can cause enough damage to make it bleed. There is no immediate concern of more serious disease. However, if it bothers you now, it will always bother you until you have it removed.
