A member asked:

Concerned. does fruit peel contain more pesticides than normal fruit? would an apple contain more pesticides than orange peel?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pesticides: All fruits should be well washed because of the use of pesticides often used by the growers. Of course the peel contains the brunt of the pesticide. I don't feel that there is any significant difference between apples and oranges in that regard except you don't eat the peel of the Orange usually.
