A member asked:

concerned. does fruit peel contain more pesticides than normal fruit? would an apple contain more pesticides than orange peel?

Pesticides: All fruits should be well washed because of the use of pesticides often used by the growers. Of course the peel contains the brunt of the pesticide. I don't feel that there is any significant difference between apples and oranges in that regard except you don't eat the peel of the Orange usually.

Sugar content: Drinking a cold or sweet drink can sometimes help perk up a sleeping baby. If you haven't felt your baby move for a few hours a light meal or juice can help. If you still aren't feeling your baby move, you should call your doctor to have the baby's heartbeat monitored.

I was given ciprofloxacin to treat anthrax and my urine turned orange. Is that normal?

Hmmm....: The reason for the change in the color of your urine is most likely that you are dehydrated to some degree; try to drink a lot of water and your urine should return to clear/yellow. If this doesn't occur then go see your doctor; there may be more going on than you perceive.

Yes!: A typical apple will contain about 5g of fiber. Considering they are inexpensive, require no preparation, and taste really good, i'd say apples are an excellent source for easy fiber!

Yes: "one apple a day keeps the dr. Away" but remember apple causes constipation due to peptic content.
