Esophoria: Some people have a tendency for their eyes to cross which they resist with active eye muscle control (esophoria). Typically, when that happens, there is double vision. Circumstances that decrease concentration, such as fatigue, alcohol, sedatives, etc. can bring on this breakdown in fusion. See an Eye doctor for confirmation.
