Heart May Race: Answer to question 1. Panic attack is a sudden intense surge of fear that peaks within minutes during which 4 of 12 symptoms occur. 1 of 12 is heart palpitations, pounding or fast heart rate. Other symptoms: sweating, trembling, shortness of breath, choking sensation, chest pain/discomfort, nausea, dizziness, chills, numbness or tingling, feeling of unreality, fear of losing control or dying.
