Patrick,: Trauma/injury would be the most common cause of testicular pain--typically you would know if that occurred. Epididymitis, inflammation of the tube that holds and carries semen and located at the back of the testicle, would seem most likely. Hernias, hydrocele, spermatocele or urinary infection also possible. Epidydymitis can be caused by (sexually transmitted?) infection. Needs testing/see Doc.

Exam: You need to have an exam to determine what is likely wrong. It could be due to infection or trauma. In rarer cases, decreased blood flow could cause the testicle to die. See a doctor soon!!!

Here are some...: Sorry to hear your suffering, but the presented info does not suffice to deduce the causes for right testicular pain. In general, if testicular pain has been recurrent with highly erratic and variable onset, intensity, duration, interval, progress, evolution, & resolution, the first thing coming to professional mind is recurrent testicular torsion ... But, please seek evaluation & counseling...
