A member asked:

Does washing vagina immediately and throughly after intercourse helps prevent pregnancy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: One can just use a condom. There are other birth control methods, too. Vaginas are not meant to be washed. That means washing vaginas is not natural, and can mess up the inside, balanced conditions of the vagina. The more thoroughly one tries to wash a vagina, the more likely one will irritate the vagina.
