Typically-developing: 6-mo.- olds repeat behaviors that elicit positive or negative attention from their parents, so getting angry at them or giving them what they want make any behavior persist. If you consistently give immediate rewards/praise, for behaviors you want & ignore behaviors you don't want, your toddler will not be "spoiled".
