Normal: One of the birth control hormone benefits is reduction in menstrual bleeding. This can decrease to very minimal spotting and sometimes no periods. Periods on birth control hormones are drug induced and do nothing to "clean out your system". If this is bothersome for you, a change to a different formulation should resume menstrual bleeding for you.
