Get checked: Have you developed other signs of puberty? There a re a variety of genetic, nutritional, inflammatory & hormonal causes for a delay in the onset of puberty in general. The first step is to have your doc go over your history and assess your current growth. Following that and an exam he/she could determine what would be the best option to assess why you have not yet started your periods. Good luck.

Many questions: The basic question is do you have the genes and girl parts? If so,is there a blockage preventing menses? The questions can only be answered through a good evaluation. This will include review of history, exam and testing. With such an evaluation you can find out what if anything is needed to help you.
