Meralgia: Meralgia paresthetica. Inflammation of the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve in the region just medial to the anterior superior iliac spine (hip bone in front). Caused by excess adipose/weight pulling or pressuring the nerve there or even tight clothes/cell phone holster/etc just over the nerve. Treatments: loosen aggravating factors, lose weight, injections.
