A member asked:

How does one come to know that their adrenal gland is not functioning properly?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

You'll be sick: Adrenal glands don't malfunction very often, and if they do, you'll be sick enough that it will be readily apparent. If they don't produce enough cortisone, symptoms are weight loss, weakness, low blood pressure, etc. Which are fairly obvious.
