NOT A MYTH!!!: There are several quality research studies conducted in recent years proving that oral aloe vera extracts consistently lower fasting blood sugar and glycohemoglobin (Hb A1C). The Hb A1C was reduced as much as 22.6%, which is very impressive. Aloe on skin. NPO: Think of aloe for skin softening. Amla or Indian Gooseberry reported to have glycemic effect. Read about both to avoid confusion.

I wouldn't: The idea doesn't make sense, and since this interesting plant is promoted as being of enormous benefit for almost everything, this invites an obvious conclusion. Don't ignore exercise or medication, or spend much money on a perennial "pop" remedy.
