Went to er. not pregnant but missed period twice. was diagnosed with gerd and have been given pepcid (famotidine). does it have affect on menstrual cycle? and uti?

Not known to do so.: Pepcid (famotidine) or any PPI is not known to affect menstrual cycles or interact with other medications that do. I am also not aware of them being associated with increase risk of UTIs. I would look into other medications that you may be taking and definitely follow up with your OB/GYN for further evaluation.
