Cervical lymph node: If this node persists after a round of antibiotics you could ask your doctor about an FNA. A fine needle aspirate allows a small sample of cells to be removed via a tiny needle. The sample is then evaluated by a pathologist. A small portion would likely be submitted for flow cytometry which could help rule out a lymphoma. Best of luck, speak with your doctor about your options.
