The definition of: Recurrent Pregnancy Loss is 3 or more consecutive losses of recognized pregnancies before the 20th week of gestation. After two miscarriages the rate of recurrence is 24-29% for a woman in her 20's. Therefore, many obstetricians test & treat as indicated after two consecutive pregnancy losses. Ask your OB/GYN to tell you his or her opinion on this.
