All healing wounds: of the mouth & lips normally look white for several days. Try Popsicles & cool drinks; avoid salty foods. Cut food into small pieces. Call his doctor if the swelling starts to go down, then increases again after the first few days, fever occurs or there are other signs of infection.

Ans: Well sounds like a skin lesion. May be viral or bacterial. Start off with u moving it. See if it stays the same size or gets smaller. If it does not time to see your doctor for further treatment
