Prolonged periods: The 10 day menstrual period may be a function of those 3 "tiny" fibroids, that when tapped into your arteriole system will cause prolonged menstrual and inter menstrual bleeding. You can gamble that menopause will "shut down" the problem, but anemia is a risk and fibroids often bleed past menopause.
