Irregular periods: When you stop taking birth control, your body begins readjusting towards normal hormone production. This can take up to 6 months. Common symptoms during this time include: irregular bleeding/periods, headaches, muscle soreness and bloating, acne, weight gain, etc. A large Fibroid can also cause irregular bleeding. Talk to your Gyn Dr to determine the best course for the fibroid.
