Acute vertigo: Acute vertigo, a perception of movement, from an inner ear disorder can be constant and last up to three weeks but gradually improves. A chronic inner ear disorder usually has no symptoms when one isn't moving. So if it more than three weeks and constant even when still then consider medications, low cardiac output condition, neurological condition, anxiety. See ENT for evaluation.
