Can you take phenoxylcillin for a water infection ?

Water infection?: Do you mean urinary infection? And possibly Phenoxymethylpeniicillin? So, if that is what you meant, you can TAKE Pen VK as it is called, for a urinary infection, but it isn't very effective. Generally, you shouldn't have old penicillins lying around and should get a diagnosis and a new prescription for any new infection.
