Unusual, but...: Dear Brenda, having symptoms this late after a dural puncture is very unusual. I can reassure you that your symptoms most likely have nothing to do with the epidural blood patch procedure itself. The clot that was formed by injecting the blood into the epidural space was washed away after about four days. You should consult a neurologist if the symptoms persist.
