Depends on cause: Best to first find out the cause of a runny nose. Some people have a runny nose because of allergies, some because of vasomotor rhinitis, others because they have obstruction or blockage in their nose and most commonly viruses. Seeing an allergist can help you. You can try just saline rinsing your nose to help keep it clean of irritants. Saline has shown to be helpful.
