A general question- is it ok to take cough suppressant medicine when you have mucus comng out when coughing.i.e you will be leaving mucus inside chest?

It depends: You do want to expectorate mucous especially if it is copious and there is any difficulty clearing it but sometimes the cough is so frequent and debilitating that the balance tips in favor of suppressing it. Mucous perceived to be from the can actually be in the throat which is often the case.

I have been having very thing mucus in my chest for days it, I feel like I need to cough to take it out, some times it comes out and sometimes it does not. I also a bit of pain in my chest, it is just mild pain when i drink water or lean forward ?
My chest hurts and feels congested. I take my proair every hour, as well as my nebulizer. I can cough all the mucus out, which i believe is the cause.
