Throat: I suspect that you have a viral upper respiratory tract infection and the pharynx is involved giving you discomfort near your chin with referred pain to your ear. IT'S also possible that there is associated middle ear infection,however. Try gargling with warm salt water,take a cough syrup like robitussinDm as needed. If ear pain worsens,see your physician for evaluation.
