It depends...: The answers depend on other info. Ocular herpes is uncommon: confirmed diagnosis? Iniital infection or recurrence? Symptoms on or near the mouth? If any doubt, avoid contacting of your or face with wife (kissing, oral sex) until healed. Once open sores have completely healed, transmission risk is very low. Also, there's a good chance your wife has had HSV1; if so, she is immune, no risk.
