Either works, but...: Prescription-strength Prevacid (lansoprazole) is 30mg daily, so two 15mg OTC pills achieves the same dose. Be wary however of self-medication, particularly if your dyspeptic symptoms are atypical, are progressive, or prove refractory to conventional agents.
