How safe is the drug idomethacian? i take .25mg 3xd

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Indocin (indomethacin): Indomethacin is a dangerous medication if taking for long periods as it has a track record of causing erosions and bleeding from the stomach and duodenal areas. In my opinion it should only be taken for a day or two with food and then discontinued to avoid complications. It can relieve acute gout or tendonitis. Less dangerous antiinflammatories can then be given.
