A member asked:

I have burning sensation on my left pectoral, near the shoulder. it's not severe. i've been stressed lately. i had a electrocardigram and was normal.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Inflammation: This discomfort may be referred from some inflammatory process in the shoulder joint or could be the result of pectoral muscle strain or low grade inflammation especially if there is associated tenderness. Avoid stressing the shoulder and rib cage to see if the discomfort resolves. If symptoms persist or worsen, see your physician who will be able to better localize the problem. Not heart, lung
