Not long: Half life in the body is about 20 hours. If your intake is an honest reprt, it shoukd be gone in a few days. Most regular smokers should be clear in blood and other bodily fluids within a week or less. May take longer with more chronic smokers

Cotinine: If you briefly placed lips around cigar and didn't puff - there wasn't likely a significant exchange. But remember you Environmental tobacco smoke (ETS) can lead to positive cotinine testing too. Don't Smoke!!!!
