Mid-cycle spotting: Mid-Cycle spotting is very common, normal, and not indicative of any problems as long as it stops after a few days, doesn't become very heavy, and doesn't develop into signs of infection like a malodorous discharge, pain, fatigue, fever. Watery pink is usually normal vaginal secretions mixed with very scant blood. Thick pus would be abnormal as would a cheesy texture as in a yeast infection.
