Unlikely: Spotting and discharge would not be normal signs of pregnancy. They are, however, very normal when starting a new birth control pill and can occur sporadically even when stable on a pill. Pregnancy is not impossible on birth control, and home pregnancy tests remain accurate on the pill so may ease your concern. Persistent discharge with pain, discomfort, a foul odor, fever may suggest infection
