Several: Snoring and tooth grinding due to large tonsils. Cavities due to poor oral hygiene and diet. Narrow jaws leading to crowded teeth which should be treated early (about age 6). Underdeveloped lower jaw, again treat early. Tongue thrust in which the act of swallowing is not proper. Children's first dental visit should occur at age one.

Bottle caries: The most common dental problem in children is dental caries, or cavities. Cavities are prevelent when the children eat excessive swees, along with poor oral hygiene.

See dentist or preferably pediatric dental specialist age 1 for check-up, cleaning, Fluoride management, hygiene instructions, growth and development assessment, etc...Don't put it off. #2 problem is malocclusion (bad bite). See orthodontist age 7 for 1st occlusion evaluation.
