It does not restore-: -itself,but with good rehabilitation the remaining fibers can hypertrophy. But partial tears are rare, & usually it is a complete tear but the synovial sleeve may appear as a partial tear when no fibers R present.these knees have findings of ACL incompetence on Sam.
