Associations: Then your brain only associates your bed with sleep when it sees the bed or you are on the bed. (adults often use the bed for sex as well as sleep). If you associate the bed with tv, chatting on the fun, etc - you brain will be stimulated (you want brain waves to slow down to sleep).
