Pregnancy tests: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period. If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection.

Do HPT, but...: Some 85% of vasectomized men will have sperm-free semen in 2 months or after 15 ejaculations. Occasionally, the presence of sperms in semen after vasectomy may linger for months. So, do HPT timely in a wk after missing period and repeat it in another wk if the first HPT is (-) and still in doubt. More on vasectomy? Go to http://sick-ask.com/aboutvasectomy.html.
