See below: That's a tough one. Rest (from what's hurting it) if it's acutely hurting is usually necessary. Eccentric strengthening exercise program! ice and nsaids. More aggressive treatment would be a tenotomy under ultrasound guidance with prp injection. No cortisone injections!

Rest and ice: Also marathoner/triathlete. See your podiatrist. Rest is required. Anti-inflammatories and ice are common treatments. Did i mention rest ! if you want it to heal you must take a break from running. It took me 2 months to start again and then only with a few miles to start. And that was at age 28 . Never returned (now 32 years later). If you plan to run for years, get all the way better first.

Rest and ice: Rest and icing. I would consider seeing a physical therapist whom can hopefully suggest stretches to help you. I would also consider changing into another shoe, if that is potentially the problem, and when get back into running, try and avoid hills for awhile
