Rest, ice: I would avoid running type sports i would use ice , nsaids and stretch the affected tendon if the symptoms persist, i would use some physical therapy to help alleviate symptoms.

Rest: Ice, gentle stretching. A night splint is often helpful to keep the achilles from contracting. Anti-inflammatories can be useful as well.
