Excessive hair in : females on parts of the body where men usually grow hair is hirsutism. Females of Middle Eastern, South Asian & Mediterranean ancestry are more likely to be hirsute than other ethnicities. Their pediatrician can rule out genetic & other medical disorders that cause ^ed male hormones, androgens, like Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia, & check their growth & development. Leave the hair alone for now.
