Expressive dysphasia: is caused by a lesions in areas of the brain required to produce language, which is verbal or written expression of thoughts & ideas. Dysarthria is caused by a disturbance of control of muscles required to produce speech, which is articulation + pronunciation. It can be caused by central or peripheral nervous system lesions.
