Need more informati: What was the location of the cortisone shot? When did the knee begin ot hurt? Is it swollen? which knee? Same? You have a combination of issues that need clarification. Uncertain whether the sciatic pain is independent of the cortisone shot and related to a more generalized joint pain syndome. Woud be best to see your physicians and have you get a consultation with the rheumatologist
