Anxiety raises BP: If a person takes Mobic (meloxicam) and worries her blood pressure will go up, she will see that her blood pressure goes up after taking Mobic (meloxicam). Likewise, if she takes ibuprofen and worries her blood pressure will rise, she will see that her blood pressure rises. That's because it's her anxiety that raises her BP, not the pain medication. Pain medication lowers BP by lowering the amount of pain. Avoid anxiety.
