Benefits of Crying: Crying stimulates the production of Endorphins, our body’s “feel-good” hormones.” Emotional tears contain stress hormones which get excreted from the body through crying. They contain Adrenocorticotropic hormone to relieve anxiety and stress. Crying resolves feelings of grief, feeling overwhelmed or frustrated. Crying is an outlet for intense emotional sensations- agony, surprise or joy.
