Varies: It varies in part on the reason for the brace. A brace is not a standard treatment for your meniscal tear, so you may be wearing the brace for other reasons. Typical treatment for most meniscal tears is arthroscopic repair verses debridement, but you might not be a candidate for this based upon a recent vascular surgery. I would certainly discuss specifics of your case with your surgeons.
