Gyn follow up : Ask if you are a candidate for a hysteroscopy. With this test the doctor can visualize the inside of the uterus to see what's going on

When all else fails: and you sound like you have had good followup with a GYN physician, oral contraceptives or injectables may be necessary to re-establish control of your cycle. If there is absence of other reasons for dysmenorrhea. Talk to your GYN about hormone contraceptives. Thanks for trusting in HealthTap.
